Aéronavale 100 - 100 years of french Naval Aviation (Aéronautique Navale)
Now on display at the Air & Space Museum ( Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace) - Le Bourget - are a Super Etendard SEM, a SA321 G Super Frelon helicopter, and a Nord 262 G Frégate. These airplanes have been delivered to the Museum during the past 12 months. Some had received appropriate special markings to celebrate their last flight with the French Navy (Marine Nationale). French Aéronautique Navale celebrated its 100th Anniversary with an airshow on BAN Hyères airfield on June 13th, 2010 : www.sky-lens.com/articles-airshows-uk-commonwealth-usa.php They joined the old Lockheed P2V 7 Neptune and Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic that were already parked on Le Bourget's tarmac. While on June 22nd all these vintage planes were on show together, Dassault Rafale first prototype was parked on the Museum public area for the first time under a glorious sunshine. Rafale is a naval combat aircraft is it equips both the french air force and navy.
