Illustrated with these photographs done during a golden light September evening to Toussus-Le-Noble airport, is Nikon AFS 300mm f.1:2.8G VR ED N sharpness. This superb lens is used without any TC extender, and a Nikon D300 body. Though Raw files were turned into 72dpi JPEG Fine frames but you still see the rivets and details. Pictures were only slightly brightened with Nikon Capture NX while they were still in Raw (before they were turned into JPEG), and only low sharpness filter was added to the 72 JPEG files to compensate for the quite slight sharpness loss.
