www.sky-lens.com/visite/photo.php is one of two pictures having been selected as finalist to the Aviation Week & Space Technology 2010 Photo Contest : www.aviationweek.com/aw/photos/photopage.jsp . This picture depicts www.sky-lens.com/articles-news.php  : the Russian Knights team perform their final flyby to salute their late leader Col. Igor Tkachenko, who was killed on rehearsal two days before MAKS inauguration by Prime Minister  Putin.

It was shot during last air display day at MAKS 2009 - Moscow. I used Nikon D3 with Nikon AFS 300mm f.1:2.8G VR ED N. The weather was cold and cloudy, without showing any sunshade. So the D3 that I could easily set up at 1600 ISO was helpfull.
